    We are currently seeking a Program Analyst, Journeyman to support our Patuxent River, MD customer in PMA-281. The Analyst will be of member of the CM/DM and Acquisition Team and will support the daily activities of the Program Office.

    Functional Description: Collects, organizes, and interprets data relating to software, aircraft and product programs. Assists the Lead Configuration Manager in maintaining configuration control of acquisition products and data and tracking configuration changes. Supports development of Engineering Change Proposals. The overarching source documentation for Configuration Management in PMA-281 is the PMA-281 Configuration Management Plan. Candidate will also apply government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management. Plans and executes configuration management using the EIA-649 (Series) Configuration Management Standard, EIA-649-1 Configuration Management Requirements for Defense Contractors, and the GEIA-HD-649 (Series) Configuration Management Standard Implementation Guide. Assists in maintaining a data repository to store, control access, and release of data to authorized users.

    Duties and Responsibilities: Duties may include, but are not limited to:

    • Assist with maintaining CM databases.
    • Assist with editing CCB packages.
    • Capture meeting minutes.
    • Assist with maintaining CDRL Deliverables on the CDRL Tool site (ams.navair.navy.mil), to include checking for delivery completeness of documentation and tracking activity with CDRL Owners/Reviewers.
    • Assist with maintaining CDRL Tracker on individual contracts and delivery orders.
    • Assist with maintaining and managing the Procurement Management Tool within the AMS Suite
    • Assist with scheduling and conducting Procurement Planning Conferences (PPC)
    • Generate PPC agreements and route for signature
    • Monitor PMT tool contract milestones to ensure contracts on track
    • Resolve any off track milestones with the appropriate IPT
    • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Programs to include Outlook and Word, and familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft tools, such as Planner, Lists, One Note and SharePoint
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
    • Strong interpersonal skills

    Required Experience: A Journeyman level person within a labor category has 3 to 10 years of experience and a BA/BS degree. A Journeyman level person typically performs all functional duties independently.

    Desired Experience: Journeyman – At least 2 years of experience supporting NAVAIR programs.

    Required Education: Journeyman – BA/BS degree. Allowable Substitutions: The following substitutions are permitted for this task order: 6 years additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree OR Associates Degree plus 4 years’ additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
