    Butterfly Staffing is proud to partner with leading construction firms to bring top-tier talent to critical federal projects. We’re seeking a dynamic Project Manager with a proven track record in design-build projects to oversee a major multiple-award federal program at the Pentagon. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a results-oriented professional ready to lead with excellence. As the Project Manager, you will take charge of every aspect of federal construction projects, from contract negotiations and pre-construction planning to ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. Your leadership will guide cross-functional teams, foster collaboration with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with federal standards while maintaining safety and quality at the forefront.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the full lifecycle of design-build and construction projects, ensuring all deliverables meet technical, cost, and timeline goals.
    • Supervise project staff, including safety, quality control, estimating, and management personnel.
    • Develop risk mitigation strategies and oversee financial reporting, including cost forecasts and budget management.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with federal agencies, subcontractors, and suppliers.
    • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety standards, and quality assurance programs.
    • Oversee the organization of all project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, as-built drawings, and closeout packages.

    Qualifications:

    • BS degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in design-build construction projects, with federal contracting preferred.
    • Proficiency in Procore, BlueBeam, MS Office Suite, scheduling software, and familiarity with federal agency contract vehicles (e.g., GSA, NAVFAC, USACE).
    • Ability to obtain or maintain a security clearance.
    • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a self-directed approach to problem-solving.

    Certifications: One or more of the following

    • Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • Designated Design-Build Professional (DBIA)
    • Licensed Professional Engineer or Architect
