Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Tax Strategy Development: • Meet with clients to understand their financial situations and tax needs. • Create forecasts for individuals, businesses, and other entities based on current regulations and financial data. • Advise clients on how to minimize liabilities and maximize benefits. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Development: • Create and implement standard operating procedures for tax-related processes to ensure consistency and efficiency. • Continuously review and update SOPs to keep pace with changes in tax laws and regulations. Team Oversight and Support: • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. • Oversee the work of junior staff, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to deadlines. Tax Return Review: • Review and analyze tax returns prepared by team members in ProConnect, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. • Identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback to enhance the quality of tax filings. Point of Contact for Tax-Related Inquiries: • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding tax-related inquiries. • Address inquiries promptly and effectively, providing clear and accurate explanations to resolve issues and concerns, all while ensuring client data integrity and security through TaxDome. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation required. • Tax advising experience is required. • Minimum of 4 years of experience in tax accounting or a related field. • In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building and maintaining relationships. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities. • Must have an active PTIN or be eligible to obtain one. Compensation: $25 - $31 hourly
