Project Analyst

Banyan Search is teaming up with an exceptional industry-leading company that is searching for a strong Project Analyst / Accountant to join their team. This position is perfect for someone with a strong Accounting background that wishes to use their accounting foundation in more analytical ways.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support operations with financial data and respond to audit requests
• Analyze project performance and identify key financial drivers
• Assist with revenue estimates, cost/revenue accruals, and WIP reviews
• Ensure accurate reporting during month-end close
• Post and reconcile intercompany transactions; resolve discrepancies across teams
• Contribute to process improvements and take on other projects as needed

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting or project accounting
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, SUMIFs, lookups, etc.)
• Detail-oriented and accurate, even under deadlines
• A team player with solid communication skills and a customer-service mindset
