We are a growing Architecture firm based in Brooklyn, New York that offers its employees hands-on experience, participating in projects from beginning to end, wide exposure to different project types, and a friendly work environment! (Please read all the description before applying)

The position:

We’re looking for a Project Architect/ Designer with ideally 3-5 years of NYC architecture experience to work in person in our Brooklyn NY office.

The pay range we’re offering is based on experience and having the right attitude overall.

We offer to cover your transportation costs, a SIMPLE IRA matching plan, and additional paid holidays throughout the year.

We can also sign for your AXP hours and will be happy to mentor you along the way if you plan to become a licensed architect.

Requirements:

You are highly proficient in using REVIT (Autocad could be considered as well)

You have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in NYC architecture, design, and construction documents.

You have a minimum of 3 years of experience working and studying the NYC Zoning and Building code.

This is a full-time position to work in person in our Brooklyn office

Responsibilities:

Direct contact with clients.

Prepare full sets of plans for design, DOB filing, and construction.

Occasionally, site visits to measure up or verify existing conditions

Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and expediters

Answer DOB objections and revise the plans

Rise Architecture is based in Industry City, Brooklyn. This is a great place to work for architects as you will appreciate how these old industrial buildings were repurposed to serve as an office or social areas.

There are great restaurants, stores, weekly social events, and beautifully designed courtyards where you can take a break once in a while. The trains are nearby and 20min away from Manhattan.
