The Role We Want You For
As a Project Architect, you will provide us with your expertise in industrial design and management. As a key member of our Kansas City team, you will lead mission-critical projects, ensuring the successful delivery of innovative and efficient industrial solutions.
The Specifics of the Role
• Oversees the integrated design of projects and/or development of construction drawings for industrial projects.
• Serves as primary coordinator with contractors and consulting engineers.
• Leads design teams in developing proposals for potential clients.
• Caable of organizing and contributing to business development pursuits.
• Responsible for developing thought leadership in technical architecture and design.
• Recruitment and evaluation of talent to ensure practice growth.
• Represents LJC in the community and civic events.
• Practice LJC’s core values of integrity, humility and fearlessness.
• Guides and contributes to LJC’s Core Councils (Culture, Integration, Practice, Process and Sustainability).
Requirements
• A bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in architecture and design.
• Demonstrated design experience with light industrial or manufacturing facilities.
• Must be a registered architect.
• Demonstrated competence with Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD/Revit, MS Office.
• Exemplary written and spoken communication.
• Comfort and poise presenting to external and internal audiences.
• Proficient with client communications and relationship development.
