The ideal candidate will help engineers and project managers during project phases and by performing day-to-day office administrative functions.     What You Will Be Doing

    Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and clients on pertinent project information and seek guidance and authority if necessary;

    Assist engineers and project managers as they create, modify, and test products and processes;

    Coordinate with staff members in other departments, as needed, so that they remain aware of their expected duties and all components of the project run smoothly;

    Review of existing project documentation to summarize, organize, categorize, and convey the information;

    Written summarization includes but is not limited to historical engineering reports, construction plans and documentation, municipal records, site photographs and field notes, deposition transcripts, and various other court proceedings;

    Assist in the preparation of geotechnical engineering reports and proposals;

    Continuing file organization for each project;

    Ensure appropriate records are maintained at location identified and prescribed;

    Conduct tests, calculate or record data;

    Visit residential and commercial sites to draw floor plan, take note of environmental and site characteristics, obtain relative elevation measurements of the foundation system and exterior topography, obtain photographic support with voice notes, and document any other relevant information needed from site;

    Set up, calibrate, and monitor field instrumentation, perform site inspections and document findings; and

    Perform geophysical/remote sensing tests.

    What You Need for this Position

    High school diploma or general education (GED), technical degree or equivalent preferred;

    Minimum of 1-3 years of related experience preferred;

    Valid Driver’s License;

    Self-starting and assertive, high energy, highly organized and ownership mentality;

    Strong cooperative, collaboration, and presentation skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills;

    Excellent time management, organizational and follow-up skills with ability to demonstrate initiative and work independently;

    Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines to meet or betters deadlines or schedules and manage multiple projects simultaneously; and

    Maintain a high morale and positive attitude within the Company and with clients.
