    Project Coordinator:

    We are seeking an Operations and Project Coordinator to support the management team in enhancing operational processes, evaluating and purchasing new equipment, and ensuring the company meets its goals with efficiency and precision. This role is based in Houston, Texas.

    Project Coordinator Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate construction activities for new projects, including a new mill build.
    • Assist the Vice President in generating regular company reports.
    • Organize and compile construction reports for executive review.
    • Interpret CAD drawings and schematics; CAD experience is advantageous.
    • Oversee daily operations tasks, including scheduling and logistics management.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects meet timelines and budgets.
    • Develop and maintain efficient operational workflows to optimize resource use.
    • Identify and report operational issues to management, recommending improvements.
    • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, including obtaining quotes and negotiating terms.
    • Maintain comprehensive records for all operational activities.
    • Support management in preparing budgets, forecasts, and reports.
    • Facilitate feedback channels between customers, employees, and executive teams.
    • Deliver regular reports to department heads and executives to assess organizational efficiency.
    • Perform administrative tasks, such as arranging travel and coordinating meetings.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • None

    Required Skills and Abilities:

    • Basic understanding of warehouse and manufacturing processes.
    • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Engineering degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Industrial and Systems, or a related field.
    • Valid passport and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
    • Valid driver’s license.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
