    Job Title: Project Director, Sales

    Location: Cleveland, Ohio

    Compensation:
    Base salary ranging from $75-85k plus Commissions on a sliding scale from .5% to 3%, Mileage, PTO to include Vacation and Holidays, 401k Match, Laptop, Cell and Health Insurance.

    Our client is a fast-growing landscaping company that provides Design/Build services for outdoor living to include outdoor kitchens, terraces, pools, patios, gazebos, fire pits, seating areas, outdoor lighting, irrigation and landscape.  The company is highly reputable and wants to hire a Sales professional to identify and sell new design/build projects to Residential clients.  The average project is $150k but the company does projects that exceed $500k.  This company is reputable and known for it's unparalleled commitment to excellence, professionalism, and integrity.

    • As Project Director, you will oversee Business Development and Sales Management of new and existing customers to reach company revenue goals.
    • You will evaluate and produce accurate estimates of jobs within the established company profit margins.
    • You will guide the customer through the sales and design process, driving timelines with outside designers and effectively communicating with customers what those timelines are utilizing our internal documents and standards.
    • You will also work with all other managers and team members to assure the company reaches or exceeds its strategic objective.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Prospect, lead development process, and sell
    • Manage your own pipelines, backlog, in progress and completed work
    • Estimating of Design/Build outdoor living projects
    • Define project scope, acquire bids and approve all invoices from subcontractors
    • Write contracts and proposals to present and present to clients 
    • Responsible for being the customer liaison throughout the design build process and ability to tactfully communicate the construction process to clientele
    • Collaborate through the internal design review process and provide outside designers with feedback on their plans to create revisions to the plans as necessary with the ability to dissect a set of plans and offer feedback of their own.
    • Monitor and analyze the financial performance of projects to ensure timeliness, profitability, and customer satisfaction
    • Schedule and perform 30-day, 6-month and one-year follow ups with Design/Build customers
    • Conduct weekly site visits on projects, monitoring subs, quality and schedule
    • Interact with customers to create a positive experience with Exscape Designs

    Desired Qualities:

    Skills in planning, organizing, and negotiating, business knowledge, communication skills, personal accountability, performance management and employee development, and the ability to foster a respectful workplace. Involvement in outside community organizations is desired.

    Education and Experience:

    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; three - five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Landscape Architecture Degree is a plus or green industry background, a degree in horticulture, architecture or urban planning.

    Desired Skills:

    Knowledge of the following design software: AutoCAD, Sketchup, Lumion as the company uses 3D rendering regularly to sell.

    Knowledge of Aspire ERP program is a plus, Kits are created for estimating.

    Registered Landscape Architect is a plus but not required

    The minimal sales goal for this position is $1.5mm per year and the average project is $150k with some exceeding $500k.

    We are looking for a landscape designer with sales acumen, someone who has the desire to succeed, close deals, protect margins and develop solutions that clients love.  The compensation is uncapped so one can earn.
    Leads are provided by the company and they are implementing a new marketing program with a new website. They also use HubSpot to keep track of customer and sales/lead interactions.
