    3i is looking for a dedicated Construction Project Engineer to join our team. Someone who will take ownership of the roles and responsibilities of Project Engineer. The Project Engineer will review design and bidding documents, evaluate contractor bids, and oversee construction progress and scheduling, including organizing the acquisition of materials, equipment, and workers, planning for costs, and supporting the Project Manager and Superintendent on various tasks. Additionally, the Construction Project Engineer provides technical support to construction staff under the supervision of the Project Manager.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Understand Scope requirements and can answer pointed questions
    • Assist in the development of Cost Estimates
    • Assist the project manager/superintendent in creating and distributing the project schedule
    • Review plans and other technical documents
    • Assist with bid analysis, constructability reviews and permit processing
    • Monitor costs and project progress
    • Meeting Minutes and Documentation
    • Attend Weekly OAC Meetings
    • Maintain control of all project documentation
    • Create, Manage and Track Submittals RFI’s, PCO’s, CO’s
    • Assist the project team with site safety documentation and coordination
    • Coordinate with project architects, designers, owners, and field personnel
    • Offer technical information to project supervisor to ensure work complies with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications.
    • Assist project manager with assigned tasks.
    • Assist in Lien Waivers
    • Have a general understanding of project budget and assist with buyouts.
    • Assist with monthly subcontractor billings and pay applications
    • Assist Project Team with Closeout Documentation
    • Punch list Management
    • Project Schedule Adherence
    • Assist project manager/owner in getting building permits for the project
    • Assist in the development of cost estimates

    Technical Skills Requirements

    • OSHA 30 Certification

    • Procore Knowledge and Experience

    • Read and Interpret Plans and Specs

    • Bluebeam Experience

    • Microsoft Office Suite Experience

    • Presentation Skills

    • Understand Construction Law ****Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of relevant construction experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field

    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

    • Superior communication skills

    • Has a strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines

    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and manage cross-functional teams.
