A well-respected, growing company and leader in thermoforming is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to support their 5 manufacturing plants in North America. The plants vary in scope and size: from thin gauge thermoformed medical device packaging in a clean room environment, to heavy gauge industrial products, and some assembly and CNC work, each with about 200 employees onsite.
They need an experienced Engineer who has installed and started up new equipment and new lines, working and directing the onsite contractors and millwrights. The right Engineer brings strong technical knowledge with facilities (chilled water, compressed air, etc.), manufacturing maintenance, and onsite project oversight, ideally with explicit thermoforming equipment and its necessary infrastructure. It could be titled Facilities Maintenance Project Field Engineer given its broad scope!
Strong communication skills (bilingual in Spanish would be amazing!), documentation skills, and with the ability to interface across a broad range of people - from Floor Associates, Maintenance Techs, and up through to Plant Managers - is critical.
Ideally would be willing to relocate to eastern Pennsylvania but there is some flexibility. Travel will be about 25-30% and is project driven.
