We are seeking a talented and motivated Project Engineer to join us and take the lead on land development projects
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer with a background in land development and stormwater management to take on a key role within our organization. This position involves both project management and technical engineering responsibilities, ensuring you’re engaged in every stage of the process, from design to permitting to completion.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional engineer (PE) or an EIT on the path to licensure to make a meaningful impact, with potential for company ownership in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare land development designs, including stormwater management, erosion & sediment control (E&S), and NPDES permitting.
- Manage projects from start to finish, coordinating with subconsultants and clients to deliver high-quality results.
- Utilize Civil 3D and related stormwater software for design and analysis.
- Oversee the work of three talented designers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
- Balance technical engineering tasks with project management responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT with a plan to pursue licensure.
- 3+ years of experience in land development design, with a strong focus on stormwater management.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and other stormwater-related software.
- Experience with permitting processes, including NPDES and E&S.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
