We are seeking a talented and motivated Project Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing custom software development projects, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, and ensuring successful project delivery. You will also do regular code reviews for the work done by the developers on your team, ensuring it meets the client's expectations and our standards. Responsibilities: • Act as the primary liaison between clients and our development team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on software solutions. • Develop and maintain project plans, including sprint plans, timelines, and resource allocation. • Write developer tickets for work being done on the project, often specifying best coding practices that should be used. • Utilize agile methodology to manage project execution and adapt to changing requirements. • Lead project meetings, including sprint planning sessions and retrospectives. • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, taking proactive steps to mitigate them. This includes regular reviews of PRs submitted by the developers on your team. • Ensure that projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Foster a collaborative team environment, motivating team members and holding them accountable for deliverables. Qualifications: • Verbal and Communication Skills. • Proven experience in project management, particularly in custom software development projects. • Strong understanding of agile methodology and experience implementing it in a professional setting. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members. • Ability to develop and maintain project plans, including sprint plans and timelines. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. • Self-motivated individual who can juggle multiple projects and priorities • Technical Skills. • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment. • Preferred experience in the following coding languages and frameworks (at a minimum): HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP. • Nice-to-have experience: MySQL knowledge, Laravel, and React frameworks. • Good understanding of best web practices, such as mobile responsiveness, speed optimization, accessibility, and SEO. • Basic GIT and command line knowledge. • Basic experience with Agile management software, such as Jira. • Work Requirements. • Must live near the Orlando, FL area and are able to work in the office at least four days of the week. Compensation: $78,000 - $100,000 yearly
