    DIRECT HIRE | CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER | Midwest

    Leads projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision. Takes charge of various aspects including Preconstruction, Communication, Scheduling, Budgeting, Risk Management, and Project Close-out. Guides the project team to achieve successful outcomes and resolves complex issues.

    *Travel required up to 100% within the Midwest.  Open to candidates located in the Midwest (open to travel), company based in Kansas City.

    SEEKING PROJECT EXPERIENCE in: Healthcare facilities, Science & Technology, Institutional

    • Anticipate $110,000 - $125,000 (+/-), based on experience

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Preconstruction
      • Bid packages, SOW for trade partners, scheduling, planning for self-perform work)
    • Project Set-Up and Planning
      • Oversees project documentation setup and execution.
      • Assists with permitting.
    • Schedule Management
    • Budget Management
      • Manages labor and material reporting, overseeing invoice processes.
      • Handles Change Order Management and initial budget setting.
    • Safety Management
      • Oversees the site-specific safety plan and compliance.
      • Conducts safety walks and implements corrective measures.
      • Prioritizes safety in all operations.
    • Logistics Center
      • Develops material and equipment plans for efficiency.
      • Manages equipment needs regarding purchase vs. rental.
    • Self-Perform Management
      • Monitors production rates and budget goals for self-performed tasks.
    • Building Performance Solutions
      • Participates in site inspections with the BPS Manager.
      • Manages mock-up processes and quality inspections.
    • Risk Management

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
    • 4+ years of relevant experience (self-perform MEP project experience is a plus)
    • Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
    • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in project management.
    • Excellent budget management and scheduling abilities.
    • Effective problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
