    Job Summary:

    Coordinate and oversee people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Provide management of multiple construction and design contracts of various sizes

    Oversee the inspection activities and personnel to review and evaluate contractors’ compliance on various construction and design project plans and specifications

    Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

    Develop a detailed project plan to track progress

    Review preliminary plans and evaluate future plans for construction

    Review contractor submittals

    Resolve construction and design issues

    Attend pre-bid, pre-construction, and various project meetings

    Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

    Prepare and review various reports and records

    Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs

    Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

    Serve as liaison between client/owner personnel and contractors, consultants or testing laboratories

    Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

    Perform risk management to minimize project risks

    Report and escalate to management as needed

    Skills and Requirements

    Considerable knowledge of design or construction is required.

    Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

    Ability to work independently

    Pro-active and takes initiative

    P.E. license preferred

    PMP certification is a plus

    Education

    · Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a closely related field based on the responsibilities of the position.

    Experience

    · Minimum ten (10) years of experience in construction, construction inspection, design or a closely related field is required
