Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager / Compliance Officer to lead and oversee the development of our cutting-edge defense technology systems. This dual-role position involves managing all aspects of the project lifecycle while ensuring compliance with defense regulations such as ITAR and DoD requirements. The ideal candidate will coordinate teams, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure legal and regulatory adherence throughout the project’s development.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management Oversee all stages of project development, from concept through to completion.
Create detailed project plans, allocate resources, and manage deadlines and budgets.
Lead cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
Compliance
Ensure strict adherence to ITAR, DoD, and other defense industry regulations.
Handle documentation and communication related to legal and regulatory requirements.
Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and ensure all licensing and approvals are obtained.
Stakeholder Communication
Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including leadership and government agencies.
Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in project management within the defense or aerospace industries.
Strong knowledge of ITAR and other defense-related regulatory compliance.
Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
PMP or similar certification is a plus.
Coachable & Strategic:
Willing to listen and adapt based on guidance from LSG.
Able to translate strategic vision into practical actions.
Security and Eligibility Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
Eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance if required.
