Whether its an office remodel or build-out, restoration of a historic building, high-end amenity centers for apartments or condos, or a new 40 bed hospital, they have probably been involved at one time.

    Pay Rate: $100,000/year - $110,000/year

    Location: Indianapolis, IN 46237

    Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Bidding & Pricing: Manage the bidding process, preparing accurate project estimates and ensuring competitive pricing.
    • Contract & Scope Review: Review contracts and scope of work, identify potential change orders, and manage scope adjustments throughout the project.
    • Sample & Submittal Preparation: Coordinate the preparation and submission of samples, submittals, and approvals.
    • Shop Drawing Review: Oversee the review and approval of shop drawings to ensure alignment with project specifications.
    • Material Take-offs & Ordering: Handle material take-offs, place orders, and ensure timely delivery to meet project timelines.
    • Project Schedule Management: Manage and balance schedules, including material lead times, fabrication times, and installation milestones in line with the overall project timeline.
    • Field Measurements & Site Visits: Conduct site readiness visits and field measurements to ensure the project is set up for success.
    • Crew Oversight: Supervise and coordinate fabrication and installation crews to ensure quality and efficiency.
    • Coordination with Stakeholders: Work closely with GCs, architects, subcontractors, and other trades to facilitate progress meetings, RFIs, walk-throughs, and punch lists.
    • Quality Control: Ensure that finished products meet the highest quality standards and client expectations.
    • Billing & Invoicing: Assist with project billing, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience: 3+ years of project management experience in the construction, fabrication, or related industry.
    • Skills: Strong understanding of architectural drawings, contract negotiations, and project scheduling tools.
    • Problem Solving: Ability to anticipate and resolve project challenges with proactive solutions.
    • Client Relations: Excellent communication and client/customer service skills.
    • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
    • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and external partners to drive project success.

    Desirable Traits:

    • Familiarity with architectural and engineering drawings.
    • Previous experience managing projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
