    Job Description

    _ Role Purpose_

    The Project Manager, Corporate Legal Affairs will partner with key business and legal stakeholders, as well as internal subject matter experts, to develop, strategize, and help drive cross-company initiatives that impact NBCUniversal in support of the due diligence of the corporate structuring project. In collaboration with functions such as Legal, O&T, HR, and Communications, the Project Manager will act as a knowledgeable resource to inform and manage project teams as processes and initiatives are being considered and developed.

    The role will report into **** the General Counsel, Corporate Legal Affairs, O&T and will be based in our iconic NY 30 Rockefeller Plaza office. This is a temporary position, for approximately one year.

    _ Job Duties_

    • Lead project management initiatives by creating internal teams, getting stakeholder buy-in, meeting deadlines, staying within approved budgets, and more
    • Successfully complete projects by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements; expediting fulfillment; evaluating milestone accomplishments; identifying optional courses of action; and delivering the initiative
    • Be knowledgeable and up-to-speed on business changes, acquisitions, divestitures, and other large-scale changes that may require support from internal stakeholders
    • Act as the key point person for other functions with matters related to the corporate structuring project
    • Partner closely with internal subject matter experts from other functions (Legal, O&T, HR, Communications, and more) in the execution of the corporate structuring project
    • Create detailed, realistic project plans and be adaptable to changes happening across the company
    • Identify ways to measure impact and success of improvements, enhancements, and changes
    • Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    _ Basic Requirements_

    • Undergraduate degree
    • 5+ years of experience, including some experience leading large-scale initiatives

    _ Desired Characteristics_

    • Solid project and process management skills, with demonstrated track record of delivering results
    • Comfort with navigating data, technology and legal file storage systems
    • High sense of urgency and ability to drive initiatives from start to finish
    • Superior business acumen and business partnership, with ability to establish credibility and rapport with all levels of employees
    • Demonstrated ability to lead change and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced, matrix environment
    • Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to concisely represent a point of view
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with organization and follow-through skills
    • Ability to flex and adapt to ever-changing business needs and timelines
    • Team player

    _ Additional Requirements_

    • Must be willing to work in New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA
    • Must be willing to travel

    This position has been designated as hybrid , generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

    This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
