We have a 45-minute radius around PGH for our coverage area. This position's daily time is spent driving 60-75% out in the field, managing projects between our painters and clients. Typically Monday - Friday, with a car allowance or company vehicle and many more perks. Immediate full-time opening for our Project Manager position. Dino Painting, an established, progressive, and growing residential painting contractor in Pittsburgh, PA, and the surrounding areas is now accepting applications for a customer-oriented, competitive, and interactive Project Manager to join our team. The results-driven Project Manager is a critical part of our company so the person we choose must be a “fit” with our commitments and shared values. SCHEDULE: • 40-50 hours per week depending on the season • 7:30 am-4:30 pm typical COMPENSATION : • We are looking for a person who is focused on delivering results and will reward their efforts • Base weekly draw plus incentives • Expected first year to be $60-$78K BENEFITS: • 10 Days PTO, Sick, and Personal Time • 6 Holiday’s Paid • Company Vacation Chrismas to New Years Responsibilities: • Forecast monetary needs for the project and accurately manage the budget • Supervise general contractors and laborers and provide direction when needed to ensure the job is high quality • Ensure teams work to follow all health and safety standards to prevent injuries and obstacles to project completion, and quickly report any safety regulation issues • Keep key stakeholders informed of the project’s status by producing frequent progress reports • Work with general contractors, critical subcontractors, and external vendors to negotiate profitable contracts • Implement systems to organize tools, vehicles, and equipment, and schedule maintenance for them if necessary • Coordinate all construction timelines and operations into an intuitive plan so the team is on schedule to meet deadlines • Determine the project deliverables and specifications, including the project scope, necessary project resources, and estimated labor needed by collaborating with clients, engineers, and architects Customer Support: • Ensure customers have an excellent customer experience. • To ensure customer satisfaction, provide continuous communication before, during, and after the project. • Handle and resolve challenges with empathy for a win-win result. Project Management: • Order materials and equipment before the job starts. • Perform regular site visits to manage project schedules, quality, and customer satisfaction and facilitate needs and changes as they arise. • Ensure subcontractors are honoring their agreements and following the Dino Painting Way. • Manage daily field schedule. • Ensure all field documents are complete and ready before the project start including the deposit, color schedule, and work order. • Communicate with administrative task for scheduling and invoicing assistance. Subcontractor Management: • Build, nurture, and grow an unparalleled field workforce. • Participate in subcontractor hiring. • Give feedback to subcontractors on areas of improvement, provide encouragement and coaching, and initiate termination when necessary. Qualifications: • Strong communication skills, leadership skills, organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and time-management skills • Minimum 1 year of work experience in construction management • You have a direct but comfortable verbal communication style. • You are persistent and have the ability to finish tasks despite challenges or resistance. • You have a preference for maintaining and establishing an organized schedule. • You are able to see challenges and create solutions. • You demonstrate self-control and an ability to manage time and priorities. • You are answerable and accountable for your actions. • You recover quickly from adversity. • You are comfortable working independently and autonomously. • You treat others fairly, regardless of personal bias or beliefs. • We are a tech-driven company with cloud-based software, and we are familiar with and willing to learn new technologies and applications. • Proven history of producing measurable results. • Ability to pass a background check. Compensation: $60,000 - $78,000 yearly
