  • Responsibilities

    Summary

    The Project Manager will oversee various projects of moderate to high complexity and lead projects from original concept through final implementation. Manage and report project scope, status, cost and timing to all impacted internal and external stakeholders.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and acts as a single point of contact for those projects.
    • Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
    • Interprets plans and project requirements, communicates needed resources to management, and manages implementation of projects.
    • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis and provides progress reports to support internal management reporting.
    • Ensures development of Design and Production “Punch Lists” and completion of all outstanding items.
    • Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables, also manages contract administration and invoicing.
    • Manages a feasible route through design and production phase.
    • Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
    • Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
    • Responsible for cost monitoring.
    • Ensures completion of project documentation.

    Education and Experience

    • Associates Degree in Technical discipline or engineering. Bachelor’s Degree in engineering discipline preferred.
    • PMP Certification desired.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Mechanical or Electrical product management.
    • Experience and demonstrated aptitude in all phases of design, testing and operations of electronics manufacturing.

    • Must be able to track and guide simultaneous projects and timelines to target.
