  • Responsibilities

    We provide luxury design build remodeling services to homeowners in Tallahassee. For the project manager position we need someone experienced in remodeling & construction with good communication skills, organization and attention to detail. You will spend about 60% of your time in the field and 40% in the office. You will work closely with our designers to manage each project and will manage up to 4 projects at a time in the field and assist with developing another 3-4 in the design phase. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years total remodeling experience with 2-3 years working as project manager for a design build remodeling company. They will be an effective problem-solver who has great communication skills, attention to detail, and patience. Soft Skills/Knowledge • Communication • Organization • Patience Hard Skills/Knowledge • Familiar with Florida Building Code • General construction knowledge & engineering principles • Familiar with NAHB performance standards & NKBA standards • Use of project management software Compensation We provide very competitive salaries with significant year end bonus opportunities. We also provide health insurance, 3 weeks PTO, 14 paid holidays and a paid week off from Christmas to New Years. We also provide a company vehicle for jobsite visits. Responsibilities: • Visit Jobsites daily for quality control, organization and reporting • Manage all subcontractors, Hire new subs as needed • Work with designers to prepare projects for bidding • Create & Manage schedules for new projects • Manage delivery of materials to jobsite Qualifications: • Familiarity with construction project management software is highly valued • Finished training for OSHA 30 license • Possess a deep understanding of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, project management principles, and construction methods • Four-year college degree in engineering, construction management, or other similar fields • Superb leadership capability, organizational skills, time-management abilities, and communication skills Compensation: $68,000 - $72,000 yearly
