We are seeking a skilled Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects, from estimating and pre-construction to successful completion.

     

    About the Role

    As a Project Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will manage schedules, budgets, quality control, and safety while fostering strong relationships with clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors. This role offers the chance to lead diverse projects, make a tangible impact, and grow within a supportive environment.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead all phases of project management, including estimating, subcontracting, and closeout.

    • Develop scopes for estimating, subcontracts, and purchase orders.

    • Manage project cost accounting, document control, and change orders.

    • Oversee schedules and resource allocation to ensure timely project completion.

    • Administer contracts, approve invoices, and produce monthly project reports.

    • Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and drawings.

    • Ensure quality, safety, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

    • Foster strong working relationships with owners, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.

    • Provide jobsite leadership to maintain a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.

     

    Qualifications

    Experience: 5-10 years of experience managing large commercial construction projects.

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience.

    Technical Skills: Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft 365, Microsoft Project, and Procore. Strong ability to interpret architectural and construction drawings and specifications.

    Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to manage client expectations and coordinate teams.

    Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

    Problem Solving: Skilled at identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions.

    Commitment to Safety and Quality: Dedicated to upholding high standards for safety and construction quality.

    Location & Travel

    This position is based in Punta Gorda, FL, with occasional travel to project sites in Southwest Florida, including Charlotte, Lee, and Desoto Counties.
