SUMMARY OF ROLE: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Installer to join our dynamic team in Madison, WI. The ideal candidate will have experience in cabinet refacing, cabinet installation and trim carpentry, along with strong organizational and leadership skills to manage projects from start to finish. As a key member of our team, you will oversee and execute high-quality installations while ensuring project timelines and customer satisfaction are met. Key Responsibilities:
Work independently while managing project timelines and resources.
Maintain respectful interactions with customers and colleagues.
Act as the main contact for customers, ensuring clear communication throughout the project.
Measure and engineer materials with precision and approve material orders to ensure accurate cabinetry components for timely installation.
Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and team members for smooth project execution and accurate timing.
Install cabinetry components while exhibiting problem-solving skills with superior attention to detail, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including tool and vehicle maintenance.
Supervise and mentor team members to uphold company standards.
Protect customer property by following safety and site protection protocols.
Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and customer expectations.
Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Conduct site assessments, develop installation plans, and provide accurate estimates.
Additional skills in flooring, drywall, and general carpentry are a plus.
Qualifications:
Experience with cabinet refacing, cabinet installation, and remodeling is highly preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently.
Proven experience in project management, including managing timelines, resources, and budgets.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to problem-solve on the job and manage challenges effectively.
Knowledge of industry standards, tools, and techniques for cabinet installation and refacing.
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Excellent trim carpentry skills.
The Lead Installer supports company operations by managing sold projects and ensuring on time and on quality goals are met based on what was determined in the scope of work/contract. The lead installer's main duties are to properly manage the fulfillment of all projects.
