PROJECT MANAGER
Overview:
Centroplan USA LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager – Solar EPC to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role is ideal for an early-career professional with a background in engineering or solar energy, eager to learn and grow within the solar industry. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all commercial solar projects meet Centroplan’s high-quality standards. You will work closely with our design team, oversee project specifications, and serve as a key liaison between Centroplan and our corporate partners. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, with approximately 50% travel to project sites across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of commercial solar projects, from initial design to final installation, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our design and engineering teams to gather and communicate necessary information, review layouts, and ensure compliance with project specifications while reporting progress to management.
- Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients and corporate partners, presenting project plans and updates regularly to ensure satisfaction and transparency.
- Travel: Travel nationally (50%) to project sites for meetings, oversight, and quality assurance.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Background in electrical or mechanical engineering and/or solar energy is required, with a willingness to expand knowledge in the other areas. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a Project Manager role is required.
- Skills: Strong project management skills, with a focus on quality, detail, budget, scope, and time management. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required, with a willingness to learn additional design software.
- Certifications: OSHA-30 certification must be obtained within the first six months of employment. PMP certification is a plus.
- Personal Attributes: Highly motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical Demands: This role requires physical activity, including climbing stairs and ladders, navigating construction sites, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Location: Cambridge, MA
Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 - commensurate with experience
