Project Manager, Marketing & Graphics - Eataly Corporate
Job Description
As Project Manager – Marketing & Graphics for Eataly North America you will be guiding a small team of graphic designers delivering on graphics needs for all Eataly locations in the US and Canada. As a leader, you will manage team workloads, strategize scalability for growth and execution, as well as coach and develop your team. Your exceptional organizational skills will enable you to facilitate communication between internal & external partners and manage the graphic design pipeline for maximum efficiency and productivity, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and on brand. You will supervise the creative process from end to end: briefing, creative development, and asset delivery. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
End-to-End Project Management
Intake & Planning
Support project intake and assignment process from internal partners and cross-functional teams, ensuring information is received and briefed into well-defined deliverables and deadlines
Ensure that all projects are appropriately documented and actively tracked in our project management system
Status, Review & Approval Management
Ensure clear and frequent communication, acting as point person throughout the creative task life cycle through status updates, document sharing, meeting recaps, progress documentation, etc.
Traffic assets and deliverables across multiple departments and internal stakeholders, providing updates and securing approvals.
Resource & Calendar Maintenance
Forecast creative resourcing based on incoming requests and upcoming projects
Partner with marketing/creative leadership to understand and document project prioritization
Partners with Operations, Construction and Design, Finance and HR teams at store and corporate levels
Support in the development of timelines and ensure that they are tracked in our project management system
Monitor timelines to ensure on-deadline delivery, while assessing, addressing and escalating concerns that may delay the project
Post-Mortem Reporting & Optimization
Facilitate regular postmortems to ensure continuous improvement for creative team throughput and efficiency.
Collaborate with creative director to identify workflows that can be improved and proactively develop solutions or plans to facilitate growth or improve efficiency
Vendor Management & Budget Tracking
Manage communication with creative vendors, placing orders, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery and installation as needed
File vendor invoices and enter totals in budget tracker
Support marketing & creative leadership in reporting on financial status of projects and budgeting for production spend throughout the year.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
Demonstrated and in-depth expertise in design, with a focus on both print and digital media; experience in retail or food industries is a plus.
Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects and a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, etc.) and familiarity with web design principles.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
The annual compensation for this position is $85,000- $95,000
