    Position Summary:

    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Manager.

    We have an exciting opening for a Project Manager position within the Ronald O Perelman Department of Emergency Medicine's Research Division In this role the successful candidate will work under the direction of the Senior Research Project Manager and support the research portfolio of Dr Dowin H Boatright.

    The Project Manager will be responsible for providing support and project management in conjunction with the PI the Senior Project Manager research staff and other investigators The ideal candidate will be highly organized adept in the conduct of qualitative research.

    Additionally the Project Manager will assist with the preparation of grant applications the development promotion direction and coordination of trials managing the central IRB coordination supervising data acquisition and storage and organizing conducting and analyzing qualitative interviews.

    The Project Manager will be critical for ensuring successful implementation of studies filling a range of roles and meeting study goals while adhering to regulatory requirements and ensuring that deliverables are met effectively on time and are of high quality.

    Job Responsibilities:

    1 Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's Core Values and incorporates them into the
    performance of duties
    2 Assist in the logistics around a new site start up including activities such as finalizing customized
    informed consents finalizing and submitting IRB submissions and respond to queries reviewing site
    regulatory documents negotiating budget terms etc
    3 Oversee and manage coordinating conducting and analyzing qualitative interviews
    4 Help facilitate regular meetings with co investigators the study Research Advisory Committee and
    others; coordinate times develop agendas and distribute meeting materials
    5 Develop and maintain protocols standard operating procedures electronic databases tracking
    instruments data reports other systems for meeting study outcomes and program deliverables
    6 Works with the postdoctoral fellows and administrative teams to prepare and review reports on
    status of sites Conceptualizes data reporting products and conveys them to the data tea
    7 Assist with scientific writing and editing of grants abstracts manuscripts and presentations
    8 Supports the Senior Research Project Manager and Principal Investigator by providing updates on
    program management and status of all projects
    9 Uses available resources and established procedures to identify problems for quick resolution
    10 Meets with the principal investigators and study teams frequently to address issues that arise and
    provide strategic direction
    11 Attend meetings and trainings both internally and with external contacts
    12 Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required

    Minimum Qualifications:

    To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration health care administration or related field.

    Four years of experience coordinating Project/Programs or programs or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as World Excel Access Power Point and Outlook Familiar with Internet applications.

    Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical organizational and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.

    Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently.

    Time management skills and ability to work well under pressure.

    Strong understanding and knowledge base of coordination requirements associated with clinical/research trials.

    Ability to Project/Program manage and to multi task while paying attention to details

    Preferred Qualifications:
    1 Masters Degree in health care administration or related discipline is preferred 2 Experience with qualitative data collection and analysis 3 Clinical Research Coordinator CRC Certification is preferred required in some disciplines 4 Experience working in an Academic Medical Center preferred

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $67,771.14 - $97,010.55 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
