    Job Overview: The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications. This role requires leadership, effective communication, and strong organizational skills to manage teams, resources, and client expectations. The Project Manager will work closely with various departments to ensure that all project milestones are met and that quality standards are maintained.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Project Planning:

    Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

    Develop comprehensive project plans that outline timelines, resources, budgets, and key milestones.

    Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects.

    Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

    Project Execution and Monitoring:

    Lead project teams, providing direction and support to ensure successful project delivery.

    Monitor and track project progress, making adjustments to schedules or resources as needed.

    Ensure that all project activities are executed in line with the defined scope and client expectations.

    Manage project scope, schedule, and cost changes using appropriate verification techniques.

    Conduct regular project status meetings and prepare reports for management and stakeholders.

    Budget and Resource Management:

    Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and aligned with the project financial plan.

    Track expenses, labor hours, and resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle.

    Collaborate with department heads to allocate resources effectively and ensure that team members are working efficiently.

    Approve purchase orders, subcontractor agreements, and other project-related expenditures.

    Client and Stakeholder Management:

    Serve as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring that their expectations are met or exceeded.

    Provide regular updates to clients on project status, risks, and potential issues.

    Manage client relationships by addressing concerns, feedback, and requests in a timely manner.

    Conduct post-project reviews to identify successes and areas for improvement.

    Quality Assurance and Compliance:

    Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards and project specifications.

    Monitor compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

    Implement best practices and quality control measures to improve efficiency and outcomes.

    Oversee project audits and quality assessments when required.

    Team Leadership and Development:

    Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, ensuring that members are motivated, focused, and productive.

    Foster a collaborative and positive working environment.

    Evaluate team performance, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for team members’ growth.

    Mentor junior project managers or assistants as required.

    Required Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.

    Proven experience (3+ years) in project management, preferably in the construction, manufacturing, IT, or related industry.

    Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.

    Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, or similar).

    Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion.

    Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    Preferred Skills:

    Experience in managing budgets, resources, and contracts.

    Familiarity with risk management processes and quality assurance methods.

    Excellent decision-making, organizational, and time-management skills.

    Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.

    Work Environment: Depending on the project's nature, the role may require both office and fieldwork. Flexibility in work hours may be needed to meet project deadlines, including occasional travel to client sites or project locations.

    Schedule: Charleston - SC Design Studio Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening or weekend work as needed.
