Responsibilities: • Prevent injuries, slowdowns, and project risks by demanding complete adherence to health and safety standards on construction sites, and reporting safety regulation issues promptly • Conduct business with external vendors, contractors, and critical subcontractors to negotiate profitable contracts • Keep key stakeholders informed of the project’s status by producing frequent progress reports • Lead, manage, and hold direct reports accountable • Determine the project deliverables and specifications, including the project scope, necessary project resources, and estimated labor needed by collaborating with clients, engineers, designers, JHAs, vendors, and subcontractors • Manage the installation schedule, coordinating all construction timelines and operations into an intuitive plan so the team is on track to meet deadlines • Supervise crew leads and subcontractors, providing direction when needed to ensure the quality of the job • Requisition of materials, equipment, and services on time and within the project budget • Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained from the appropriate authorities and ensure construction is up to code • Communicate billing milestones to Accounting in a timely manner • Keep project management tools and software up to date • Provide technical assistance to crew members as needed and identify areas for training • Check to commission reports at the end of each project. Facilitate handoff back to Sales/Service Qualifications: • Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is highly valued • Excellent time-management, organizational, leadership, and communication skills • Experience using construction or project management software preferred • Finished training for OSHA 30 license • At least one year of previous experience as a construction project manager required • Understanding of solar energy systems and/or roofing desired • Post-secondary credential or Journeyman-level training • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Supervisory, budgeting, and planning experience • In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 DOE
