    Position Summary:

    The Workforce Development Project Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight and day-to-day operations of workforce-related programs. This role ensures all program activities align with the organization’s objectives, deliver measurable impact, and improve operational efficiencies. The Project Manager will work closely with program teams, service partners, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes and drive systemic workforce improvements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide overall management and oversight of program operations, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and strategic goals.

    Coordinate and monitor program activities, ensuring timely execution and the achievement of desired results.

    Oversee daily operations of workforce development programs and manage associated processes and procedures.

    Conduct quarterly reviews and impact assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of current policies and recommend improvements.

    Develop, deploy, and refine standard operating procedures and tailored protocols for community initiatives and interventions.

    Guide and supervise program team members, providing performance feedback and acting as a key contact for clients and stakeholders.

    Prepare and submit progress reports.

    Research, evaluate, and revise project plans, developing data-driven reports and presentations for internal and external audiences.

    Assist in developing and updating program plans, including key components such as timelines, technologies, objectives, staffing, and funding.

    Coordinate program schedules and activities to meet deadlines and contractual obligations.

    Organize and facilitate monthly service partner meetings, maintaining strong lines of communication and ensuring policy relevance and effectiveness.

    Oversee and manage the referral process for workforce development participants, ensuring effective intake, progress tracking, and exit assessments.

    Execute any additional responsibilities as assigned by the Project Director.

    Educational Qualifications & Functional/Technical Skills:

    Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) in Project Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.

    Project Management certifications

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience using project management software.

    Relevant Experience:

    Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in a similar managerial or supervisory position within workforce development, public service, education, or nonprofit sectors.

    Demonstrated experience in program planning, team coordination, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management.

    Familiarity with workforce referral systems and participant assessment protocols is a strong asset.

    Strong listening skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
