Project Specialist, Allergan Medical Institute (AMI) Curricula Design & Development
Job Description
We’re looking for an immensely organized and personable Project Specialist to be a part of the in-
house creative team under AMI. Ideal candidates for this role will know and love digital project
management tools, have a passion for clinical education development, and display a talent for
organizing cross-functional team members and processes – ensuring that we perform at a high-
level and launch compliant programs on time.
Reporting into the Senior Manager, AMI Curricula Design & Development, you will work alongside
creatives and curricula experts to ensure all content makes its way through the Curricula, Design,
Medical, Regulatory, Compliance, and Legal review process. Ensuring all materials are complete,
legally accurate/compliant, successfully executed and delivered on time. This is a remote
position.
Responsibilities:
1. Management of our Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance (MLRC) review systems
and processes, from initial concepts through to approve for distribution
2. Know when to escalate resource bandwidth and project blockers to manager
3. Works closely with Project Manager to support project planning, assists with identifying,
monitoring, and analyzing projects for risks
4. Act as liaison for all stakeholders to ensure project deadlines are met, as well as liaison
between AMI Curricula team and Marketing Operation team
5. Takes ownership of projects in your queue, actively advocates for project approval
6. Participate/schedule meetings to present topics and provide input, recognize issues and
provide solutions
7. Create and maintain a “best practices log” that captures common MLRC
requests/guardrails, and frequently made mistakes in our program contents, to prevent
roadblocks and achieve a faster turnaround time, and share-out to team so we do not
repeat mistakes
8. Spend time thoroughly and meticulously reading program content to actively apply “best
practices” to each job before routing into review system as well as applying metadata
that is accurate
9. Work with digital asset management teams to ensure that all approved materials are
properly produced, archived, retrieved, and moved across the organization
10. Proactively build strong working relationships with stakeholders, reviewers, and vendors;
and work with employees in all levels including VPs.
11. Manage and monitor communications with volumes of 60+ emails/messages/text per day 12. Travel to bi-annual team meetings 13. Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
_ Required_
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience, is required
2. 2-4 years in a project management role
3. Excellent time management and organizational skills with a high sense of urgency and
ownership of your projects
4. Experience with project management software and compliance systems
5. Strong problem-solving skills and solution-oriented
6. Excellent interpersonal skills (communication, empathy, and conflict resolution skills)
7. Computer literacy, tech savvy, MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
8. Adaptive to a rapidly changing environment with seasonal high-volume workload, flexible
to working overtime and/or weekends
Additional Information

1. Experience in Mac OS
2. Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Workfront, Slack, Veeva Vault, Frame.io,
Confluence, Monday.com, and Google (Drive, Docs, Sheets)

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
