    **Pinnacle Environmental Management Support is an independent firm with over 25 years of experience that provide support to our clients in the energy sector around the disciplines of administrative, data, finance, compliance, property research and claims management.

    ** This is a full-time entry-level position located in our Greensboro North Carolina office.

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Project Specialist is responsible for working on projects for the PMO Office, Property Research Projects and Data Analysis. This position provides tactical support for data analysis, projects including library and database research, preparing applications for environmental permits, conducting regulatory compliance reviews, research, and data collection.

    PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Project Specialist: Working independently the Project Specialist will be involved in the following tasks:

    • Contributing to the project goals, objectives, and client deliverables through project tasks and assignments on multidisciplinary projects, including library and database research, preparing applications for environmental permits, conducting regulatory compliance reviews, research, and data collection.
    • Complete assignments and work efficiently and in an organized manner within an established timeframe.
    • Utilizing appropriate group channels, including teams and SharePoint to ask questions on tasks and procedures.
    • Demonstrating work product is of high quality and demonstrates thoroughness, accuracy, neatness, integrity, and attention to detail.
    • Performing task within established time allocation and providing advance notices to changes to task deadlines.
    • Ensuring quality of work produced is high with the ability to work under pressure while producing accurate outcomes.
    • Attend all meetings for project, ensuring participation on reporting tasks, assignments, and questions.
    • Utilizing standard operating procedures to conduct project assignments.
    • Working alongside Project Manager and Sr. Project Specialist to ensure work is being completed correctly and within the durations established for the task.
    • Performs any related work as required.

    QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS**

    • Environmental Science Coursework preferred
    • Environmental work experience in property and remediation preferred
    • Commercial Property Real Estate terminology preferred
    • Work requires an extensive knowledge of business and an excellent command of the English language.
    • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, internet research and database.
    • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
    • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
    • Analytical ability is required to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various problems, and prioritize work.
    • Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
    High School diploma or general education degree (GED) Required
    At least two years or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Working hours are Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm EST. Pay range is $16.00-$20.00 commensurate with experience.
