Title - Prompt Engineer Location: Washington, DC Client - World Bank (Hybrid)

Role Overview

The Prompt Engineer will be responsible for developing and refining prompts to optimize the performance of AI language models, ensuring they align with the World Bank's objectives in global development, policy analysis, and data-driven decision-making.​

Key Responsibilities

Design, test, and iterate prompts to enhance AI model outputs for various applications, including policy drafting, data analysis, and stakeholder communication.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing workflows.

Monitor and evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, relevance, and bias, implementing improvements as needed.

Stay updated on advancements in AI and NLP to inform prompt engineering strategies.​

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Data Science, or a related field.

Proven experience with AI language models and prompt engineering.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.​

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with the World Bank's mission and operations.

Experience in international development or policy analysis.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.​
