Key Skills and Qualifications:
⦁Maintain a Class B CDL with Hazardous Materials (H) and Tank Vehicle (N) Endorsements or an (X) Tank/HazMat Combined Endorsement with no exclusions for Air Brakes. A Class A CDL license with the above endorsements is also acceptable. ⦁ Maintain a G-2 Journeyperson’s License, or G-1 Contractor’s License ⦁ 2 years of experience as a technician in skilled trades, preferably with Propane or Gas Lines ⦁ On-site quality control and Project Management ⦁ Able to operate independently without close supervision
Responsibilities::
⦁ Performing installations and maintenance on LP gas systems, including setting tanks and installing piping, for residential, commercial, and industrial systems, as well as troubleshooting and repairing propane systems and certain appliances. ⦁ Occasionally delivering LP fuel to customers at residential and commercial locations. ⦁ Ensuring personal compliance with safety codes and policies including the servicing and repair of company vehicles. ⦁ Practicing and reinforcing superior customer service skills by providing courteous and efficient service to all customers. ⦁ Ensuring that vehicle preventive maintenance schedules are being performed and adhered to as required. ⦁ Performing the necessary vehicle and trailer inspections as required. ⦁ Complete all required daily trip documentation in a timely and organized fashion ⦁ Communicate daily trip activity, providing updates to supervisor throughout each day ⦁ Have the ability to work the hours of this position of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday (includes 1/2 hour unpaid mandatory lunch break), with the opportunity to work overtime when necessary. ⦁ Use tools & safety equipment provided by employer to ensure a safe working environment and prevent injury. ⦁ Have a willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions. ⦁ Have the ability to walk on uneven ground, lift and carry up to 75 pounds at times throughout the day as well as bend, climb, crawl, reach, stoop & twist. ⦁ Have a detailed work ethic, be enthusiastic, committed, proactive and resourceful; to effectively get the job done. ⦁ Have good customer retention focus, being polite and informative. ⦁ All field personnel will be on a rotating schedule for emergencies being “on-call”, one week at a time. All callouts while “on call” will be compensated at an overtime rate from the time you leave and return to our office. ⦁ The employee “on call” will often work one day on the weekend, especially during busy periods, and will receive a stipend for the week of the “on call” assignment. The stipend amount is currently $150.
