Location: Corporate Office in Greenville, SC

Summary

Under regular supervision of the Accounting Manager, the Accountant is responsible for the accounting and financial reporting functions of the apartment properties managed by NHE, Inc. The Accountant also participates in internal operational audits of properties. The Accountant may also take direction from the Vice President of Finance from time to time.

II. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Accounting Experience required including with Journal Entries, Financial Statements and Budgets

Auditing experience a plus

Computer Literacy

Attention to Detail

Sound Organizational Skills

Good Judgment

Communication Skills

Excellent follow-up skills via email, text, writing and phone

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, reliable and self-motivated

Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Property Management software experience preferred (e.g. Yardi)
