A well-known real estate company in Connecticut is currently expanding its accounting department. They are looking to add a Property Accountant to their growing Real Estate & Development team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to support financial operations related to commercial and residential properties, while collaborating with the accounting team, project managers, and key stakeholders to ensure precise financial reporting, adherence to compliance standards, and effective budgeting and cost management.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Journal Entries
• Budget Process & Tracking
• Annual tax/audit preparation

Requirements:

• 2+ years of property accounting experience (commercial and/or residential)

NIce-to-haves:

• Experience with Yardi, Procore, Excel
• Familiarity with stabilized property accounting principles

Location: Norwalk, CT

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 base salary + competitive benefits package
