Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Property Damage Inspector to work on a 1099 contract basis. The inspector will assess and document property damages for insurance claims, providing essential support to our property adjusting team. Assigned cases will be based on zone coverage, with compensation varying according to the type and size of each property. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication and observational skills.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to assess damage for insurance claims.
Document findings accurately and in detail, including photographs and measurement verification as required.
Communicate with clients and property owners professionally and empathetically during site visits.
Complete and submit detailed inspection reports promptly following site visits.
Collaborate with others as needed to clarify findings and provide additional information.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in property inspection, construction, insurance adjusting, or a related field preferred.
Strong observational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple assignments.
Reliable transportation to travel within assigned coverage zone.
Basic proficiency in digital tools for report submission and photo documentation.
