Job description
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Responsibilities
Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, patching, drywall, installing LVP flooring and painting
Install appliances and equipment
Maintain and do safety checks of appliances and equipment
Groundwork, shoveling, salting and collecting trash in the community etc.
Conduct maintenance tasks such as repairing leaks, rehabbing units, general upkeep of facilities, plumbing, electrical and finish work
Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems
Conduct showings for prospective renters
Check functionality of safety systems
Collaborate with workers and other professionals subcontracted on certain tasks.
Report to maintenance manager/Office for issues
Skills
Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems required
Experience using hand and electrical tools
Very good communication and interpersonal skills
Physical stamina and dexterity
Must have own hand tools

High school or equivalent (Preferred)
License/Certification:
Driver's License (Preferred)
