Touro Property Management is a growing property management company specializing in the acquisition and management of apartment properties in the Dallas metro area. We are looking for a Make Ready Technician to maintain and repair items within the property and ensure units are in good order ready for use.

Responsibilities

Complete all needed repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move-in by following the make-ready checklist

Assist with preventative maintenance and ensure vacant units meet the established quality standards for re-leasing.

Responds to service requests in a timely manner.

Performs painting and drywall repair duties

Replaces or repairs, windows, latches, screens, hinges, shelves, baseboards, ceiling fans, lights, etc.

Change all locks after the unit is vacated.

Inspects and performs minor repairs and replacements to plumbing

Assesses HVAC and reports any issues or repairs needed

Demonstrates an eye for detail and pride in tasks completed.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Demonstrated repair and maintenance abilities, handyman experience a plus

Able to follow directions to safely perform duties.

Service oriented; ability to multitask and meet deadlines

Able to operate basic repair tools and equipment safely

Occasionally use a keyboard.

Able to read instructions or safety warnings on products and equipment

Physical Requirements

Approximately 85% standing or walking

Frequently bend, stoop, squat, gripping and reaching upward

Operate hand and power tools

Ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and or step stools.

Lift up to 50 pounds
