**Job Summary:**We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing property value, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and managing maintenance staff and contractors. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a thorough understanding of property management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
-Property Operations: Oversee all aspects of property management, including leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, and financial management.- Tenant Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely manner to ensure high levels of tenant satisfaction.
-Leasing Management: Coordinate the leasing process, including marketing vacant units, screening potential tenants, conducting lease signings, and ensuring compliance with lease agreements.
-Maintenance Oversight: Supervise maintenance staff and contractors, ensuring timely and effective repairs and upkeep of properties. Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans.
-Financial Management: Prepare and manage property budgets, monitor expenses, collect rent, and handle delinquent accounts. Provide regular financial reports to the higher management.
-Regulatory Compliance: Ensure properties comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, including building codes and fair housing laws. Maintain necessary documentation and records.
-Market Analysis: Stay informed of market trends, property values, and rental rates to provide insights for property improvements and strategic planning.
-Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to management, including occupancy rates, financial performance, and tenant feedback.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management.- Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices.- Familiarity with local property laws and regulations.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
