We are seeking an individual to be a Team Member in our Richmond Hill Office who would share responsibility for the day-to-day operations of 300 plus residential properties. The ideal candidate must possess Real Estate or Property Management experience and must be professional, enjoy solving problems, love to work with people, and possess good customer service skills. This Team Member must convey warmth and openness along with authority, possess common sense, and be a good communicator. This position could be full or part-time. Responsibilities: This job description is intended to provide you with a guide as to your primary responsibilities and duties as a Property Management Team Member: • Maintaining the office and rental files with integrity in a confidential and secure manner • Answer office phones, emails, tenant and owner questions on a daily basis • Advertise and market available properties and arrange to show appointments • Process rental applications by verifying eligibility and securing landlord references • Execute leases, and perform property inspections with the tenant upon move-in • Inspect all properties to ensure lease compliance, assign work orders for any work noted, and charge the tenant for damages if applicable • Monitor lease expirations to ensure timely lease renewals or upcoming vacancies • Send letters to tenants and pursue eviction through Magistrate Court when necessary for several lease violations such as non-payment • Assess the move-out condition of properties and have a final account statement sent to the tenant as soon as possible with the final disposition • Back up for on-call coverage for the maintenance department • Follow instructions clearly and accurately in a timely manner • Have a go-getter attitude and be willing to assist the Property Manager in all situations Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED required • Real Estate or Property Management experience required • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills • Strong customer service and social skills • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Compensation: $25 Hourly Depending on Experience
