Job Description
This position directs the efficient and effective operation of public housing properties. The Property Manager oversees all operational and financial aspects to include managing all activities related to housing, resident services and collections. The Property Manager also maintains oversight of staff management and risk management while ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations. The work is performed in a variety of environments under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, benefits-eligible position in Clearwater, FL.

Required Competencies & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Management or Business Administration from an accredited college or university. Equivalent combination of experience, education and training may substitute for degree.
Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) preferred.
Three to five years’ progressively responsible experience in multi-family residence property management or similar environment.
Computer proficiency in Windows operating system and MS Office software including Word and Excel. Able to operate Internet applications and email as well as external vendors’ and applicable proprietary software programs including File Vision, Yardi and or HAB software.
Possession of valid Florida Driver’s License.
Necessary Knowledge:
Fair housing laws.
Rental housing industry and local market conditions.
Accounting principles and practices.
Leadership principles, effective supervisory skills and applicable employment law/regulations.
Budgeting and resource allocation.
Negotiation and conflict resolution.
Human resource management.
