    The Property Manager supports the mission of Sojourn J-Town by creating beautiful spaces, support our ministry leaders, and ensure the safety of our building.

    Character and Competencies

    Commitment to the vision of Sojourn Church J-Town.

    Demonstrate the character of a deacon as outlined in the staff handbook.

    Experience with project and vendor manager.

    Must be detail oriented.

    Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word and Excel, in particular) and Google Workplace.

    Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

    Responsibilities

    Preventative and General Maintenance

    Regularly checking systems and equipment.

    Managing improvement projects

    Coordinate with all contractors, start to finish.

    Give oversight and support to the lawn care team.

    Work to eliminate all sudden issues as they arise.

    Setup

    Coordinate with the Office Manager for the event calendar

    Work with ministry leaders to support their needs.

    Ensure set-up materials are kept up and stored properly

    Cleaning

    Checking supply levels of toilet paper, soap, and hand towels of staff restrooms every week and ensuring that supplies are reordered.

    Manage relationships with the contracted cleaning crew.

    Ensure that all trash is taken out of the building.

    Ensure that all inventory is kept up to date.

    Keep closet organized and cleaned,

    Technology

    Oversee internet maintenance and performance

    Oversee tech support for staff

    Oversee workspace management and set up

    Project Management

    Oversee contractor relationships

    Coordination with team members through the projects.

    Ensure the quality of the projects

    Security

    Contact person for the alarm company

    Sweep the building regularly after events for security purposes.

    Reporting and Supervising Roles

    Reports to: Executive Pastor

    Manages: Lawn Care Team and Property Volunteers

    Expectations

    Adhere to the Sojourn Staff Handbook

    Participate in staff meetings when assigned.

    Support, partner, and align with other ministry areas to further our mission.

    30 hours per week
