    At Browning Day, our portfolio spans a broad range of project types within civic, cultural, healthcare, higher education, faith based, hospitality, mixed-use, preservation and reuse, sports and wellness, and the workplace. Our success is based on the client's vision coming to life and includes a team of Architects, Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, and support staff who play a part in solving complex design problems. We are seeking a Proposal Coordinator who will add their skills and creativity to our diverse projects.

    The Proposal Coordinator will play a key role in the success of Browning Day’s goals as the primary contact for marketing deliverables, including proposals, presentations, digital, social media and printed content, awards submissions, photography, and other special projects as they emerge. This position reports directly to the Director of Business Development.

    ABOUT THE ROLE:

    • Write, organize, and develop content for business development, proposals, quotes, requests for information, brochures, and all types of media.
    • Utilize InDesign and PowerPoint for graphic and content production.
    • Partner with the Director of Business Development to coordinate deadlines for proposals, presentations, and special project requests with the internal team and external sub-consultants.
    • Accurately prepare necessary forms and final documents (printing, copying, tabs/covers, collating, binding, etc.).
    • Support the firm in creating and maintaining marketing resources (PowerPoint presentations, brochures, graphics, social media, and website) as requested.
    • Organize and maintain all marketing materials, files, and templates for ease of use by multiple stakeholders using Deltek (a CRM software), Excel, and other programs.
    • Develop a strong understanding of the firm’s history in the community and past projects, as the marketplace requires.
    • Ensure all materials meet Browning Day’s brand standards.
    • Coordinate event calendar and set up materials and communication for annual career fairs, trade shows, awards submissions, and other events.
    • Initiate, coordinate, and ensure successful completion of project closeout documentation and corporate photography needs with project team members.
    • Coordinate photography of staff and projects as needed.
    • Support with business development and human resources on media campaigns and website postings.
    • Prepare status reports on marketing and media efforts as requested by Director of Business Development.
    • Support special projects such as in-house events, internal branding, award submittals, and other activities as assigned.
    • Grow with the business development team and firm by providing additional support, contributing to a continuous improvement environment, and completing other tasks as requested.

    REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Ability to solve problems, specifically interpret multiple stakeholders' input with an eye on the highest and best representation of the final product.
    • Time management skills, including balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and managing time with and without deadline-driven projects.
    • Advanced ability to notice details, review, write, and edit content.
    • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
    • Proficient understanding of marketing principles.
    • Foster mutual trust and confidence by developing solid relationships.
    • Aptitude to work in a team environment as an individual contributor.
    • An unquenchable passion for the work required.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Content Writing, or a related design field or equivalent professional experience.
    • 3+ years of marketing or content writing experience in a professional services firm preferred.
    • Microsoft Office Suite experience (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
    • Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign is required; Illustrator and Photoshop are a plus.)
    • Satisfactory completion of background screening.
