    Job Description

    AECOM is seeking a Marketing Proposal Specialist I to join our Buildings + Places team and work in collaboration with the West Region business development and operations team on pursuits, including partnering in the preparation of formal and informal client solicitations, including expressions of interest (EOI), requests for qualifications (RFQ), requests for proposals (RFP), and pre-qualification efforts.

    This will be a hybrid position including a combination of both remote and in-office, that can be based in, but not limited to: Dallas, TX; Austin, TX; Houston, TX; Denver, CO; Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Assist with small to medium proposal/LOIs/SOQs. May support capture teams with pre-RFP proposal planning and helps develop and apply the win plan, themes, and discriminators in marketing deliverables.
    • Create proposal schedules and templates, perform production tasks, and demonstrate a clear understanding of compliance.
    • Develop compliance matrices and creates reasonable, agreed-upon schedules for content development, production and delivery.
    • Contributes to and supports the writing and/or editing and/or formatting of resumes and past performance sections for proposals.
    • Participates in color reviews (Pink and Red team) to build institutional knowledge and may coordinate proposal review meetings and ensure compliance with client requirements.
    • Manages the implementation of proposal and presentation revisions based on direction from review teams.
    • Supports Go/No Go and greenlight analysis conversations and maintain CRM data system content as needed.
    • Participates in internal debriefs as part of pursuit team, as requested.
    • Understands and follows company quality procedures and approval processes (legal, contracts, DOA, signatory) under supervision of others.
    • Performs a self-check of work prior to submitting to others for review/approval
  • Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements

    • BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Working knowledge of and interest in the A/E industry a plus
    • A detailed knowledge of marketing best practices and procedures, work processes, and tools.
    • A strong working knowledge of InDesign as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
    • A working knowledge of collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc.
    • An understanding of CRM Salesforce experience is a plus.
    • Initiative, skill, and personal commitment to manage multiple projects and details concurrently, follow up, and bring tasks and projects to full completion.
    • Ability to produce accurate, compliant, and compelling work independently and with others.
