Protection & Controls Engineer - Remote

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to create efficient and reliable electrical design packages for medium and high voltage substations.
- Design and develop protection and control schemes for power distribution networks, ensuring safe and reliable system operation.
- Conduct power system studies and analyses to identify potential issues and optimize performance.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot SCADA systems for monitoring and controlling power distribution networks.
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, and field personnel to successfully implement protection and control solutions.
- Provide technical support during installation, testing, and maintenance of systems.
- Stay current with industry standards and best practices related to power system protection and control.
- Meet project timelines and deliverables while maintaining high work quality and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Protection & Controls engineering.
- Experience within the power utility sector.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD software.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
- Background in high and medium voltage systems.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
Salary Range:
Up to $157,000, commensurate with experience.
