Job Title: Prototype Tool Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Prototype Tool Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and hands-on experience in designing and building prototypes for a variety of industries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop prototype tools for new products or improvements on existing products.
- Collaborate with engineers and researchers to understand project requirements and develop innovative solutions.
- Create detailed drawings and models using CAD software.
- Build prototypes to ensure functionality and safety.
- Analyze and make necessary adjustments to improve performance.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure prototypes can be produced efficiently.
- Document and track progress, costs, and timelines of prototype projects.

Qualifications:

- Associates or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in prototype tool design.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as Unigraphics/NX.
- Strong understanding of materials, machining processes, and manufacturing techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
