    Summary:

    Our award-winning client is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team! Join our growing client, an industry leader known for its commitment to quality and engineering excellence. In this role, you'll play a key role in overseeing capital projects that involve new processes, equipment installations, and continuous improvement initiatives within our packaging and manufacturing operations. You'll ensure projects of varying scope and complexity are delivered on time and optimized for maximum efficiency.


    Responsibilities:

    • Manage capital projects from start to finish, leveraging proven project management methodologies.

    • Ensure all projects adhere to regulations, industry best practices, and company engineering standards.

    • Lead projects through all phases: scope definition, budgeting, execution, and successful delivery.

    • Manage internal and external resources effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

    • Foster strong communication and collaboration with all stakeholders involved.

    • Provide technical solutions, design support, and troubleshooting assistance to operations teams.

    • Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, building business cases, and implementing initiatives.

    • Gain expertise in new systems to effectively train and mentor plant engineers and maintenance staff.

    • Demonstrate agility and adaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    • Develop and implement efficient work processes, procedures, and technical resources aligned with engineering policies.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.

    • 5-15 years of experience in project engineering or management within a fast-paced manufacturing setting (ideally food or pharma).

    • Proven track record in capital project management, including initiation, planning, and execution phases.

    • Experience with DQ, FAT, CQV, ramp-up analysis, and other project management protocols.

    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (particularly Excel and Project) and CAD software for design and layout.

    • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, P&IDs, construction drawings, and other technical documents.

    • (Preferred) Experience in beverage, aseptic, or food manufacturing.

    • Understanding of financial analysis, relevant business KPIs, and CAPEX budgeting.
