    Summary:

    Our award-winning client is seeking a Retail General Manager to join their team.We are seeking a passionate and experienced Retail General Manager to lead our medical and recreational cannabis storefront in Poughkeepsie, NY. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall success of the store, driving sales, profitability, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and customers (21+).

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all aspects of store operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with all local and state regulations.

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.

    • Recruit, hire, train, coach, and mentor a high-performing retail team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

    • Cultivate a welcoming and informative atmosphere for patients and customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience.

    • Manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability for both medical and recreational products.

    • Conduct regular inventory audits and implement effective loss prevention strategies.

    • Oversee store security measures and ensure a safe and secure environment for both staff and customers.

    • Collaborate with regional and corporate teams on marketing initiatives and promotional events.

    • Analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize store performance.

    • Maintain accurate and detailed store records, adhering to all reporting requirements.

    Required Qualifications:


    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail management, preferably within the cannabis industry.

    • Proven track record of success in achieving sales goals and exceeding customer service expectations.

    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail point-of-sale systems.

    • In-depth knowledge of cannabis products (medical and recreational) is a plus.

    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.

    • Must be at least 21 years of age.
