Responsibilities: Evaluating, diagnosing, developing treatment plans, prescribing medication, monitoring medication, evaluating treatment plans, providing referrals for additional treatment needs, collaborating with staff, attend staff meetings/clinic huddles. Provides information to patients on health maintenance and disease prevention, and counseling.
Qualifications
Have a valid DEA number
Interested in full-time/part-time contract position
Proficient computers skills including EHR. Valant (preferred)
Committment to excellence and high standards of patient care
Experience treating adults with a variety of mental healthcare needs
Licensed in California, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification (PMHNP-BC)
Have current, unrestricted, California NP and Furnishing license without any disciplinary action(s)
Empathy, communication, active listening, compassionate with diverse populations
5 plus years of independent psych NP experience
