    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our mental health care team. The PMHNP will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with mental health disorders. The ideal candidate is dedicated to patient-centered care, demonstrates excellent clinical judgment, and works effectively in a collaborative environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Conduct psychiatric evaluations, mental health assessments, and risk assessments.

    Diagnose and treat mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders.

    Develop individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices.

    Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, monitoring for efficacy and side effects.

    Provide psychotherapy and counseling as appropriate.

    Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.

    Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.

    Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic health records (EHR).

    Participate in crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric care as needed.

    Stay current with best practices, research, and advancements in psychiatric care.

    Qualifications:

    Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric/Mental Health.

    Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and board certification as a PMHNP.

    State licensure to practice as a PMHNP and prescribe medications.

    Experience in psychiatric care is preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical skills will be considered.

    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

    Work Environment:

    Outpatient clinic, inpatient psychiatric unit, community mental health center, or telehealth settings.

    May involve occasional on-call responsibilities and crisis intervention.
